Blizzard reveals WoW: Forever’s new legendary weapon

Blizzard has revealed a new legendary weapon for World of Warcraft: Forever, an upcoming version of the online role-playing game.

The weapon is called Taldramir, the Whispering Wood, and it is a night-elf-themed staff.

Weta Workshop made a full-scale replica, shown in a video on the Warcraft Twitch channel.

The staff had already appeared in Forever promotional materials and a Warcraft animated music video.

Its story may connect to night-elf lore, but how players will obtain it is not yet known.

Druids are likely to be able to use it, though other staff-wielding classes may also qualify.

Forever’s raids open on December 9, and two have strong ties to night-elf lore, but Blizzard has not confirmed a link to the weapon.
