Tarris Reed offers the Spurs a backup option they lacked last season

Tarris Reed Jr. gives the San Antonio Spurs a backup option they lacked last season.

Reed appeared in a preseason game against the Utah Jazz on October 12.

The game was played in Salt Lake City, at the Delta Center.

A photo caption shows Reed shooting over Utah's Jonas Aidoo.

The backup option matters because the Spurs lacked one last season, according to the story's headline.
