Iran Says It Has No Plans to Meet US Officials

Iran’s foreign minister says no meeting with US officials is planned under current conditions.

Abbas Araghchi said Iran’s terms are clear and consultations with mediators are continuing.

Tehran has reviewed a letter from US Vice President JD Vance and discussed it at senior levels.

Araghchi said an effort to open dialogue would be positive, but warned that any attempt to sow division would be a mistake.

The US is reportedly exploring whether negotiations could avert planned military strikes against Iran.

One account says Vance wants Iran’s nuclear program included in any negotiations, but Iran has not announced plans for a meeting.
