La Mole Horror Edition 2 took place at Mexico City's World Trade Center over Halloween weekend.
Actress Emma Leigh Cullum, from It: Welcome to Derry, and Argentine creator Magnus Mefisto were among the guests.
Cullum plays young Ingrid Kersh, who performs as Periwinkle alongside her father in the series’ 1908 timeline.
She said the role let her help show Pennywise’s human side.
The convention brought together horror talks, screenings, music and merchandise, along with voice actors, wrestling and other events.
Mefisto discussed how different countries’ histories shape their ideas of horror, including the role of pre-Hispanic sacrifices in Mexico.
A performance by the voices of Homer Simpson and Mr Burns drew cheers, and metal band Helm of Terror played the closing concert.
