Excite wins A$2.9m digital forensics contract with Australian regulator

Excite Technology Services has won a A$2.9 million contract with an Australian federal regulator.

The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, CBIT, will provide digital forensics and investigative analytics to support the regulator’s investigations.

Digital forensics involves examining electronic evidence, while investigative analytics helps make sense of information.

The regulator has not been named because the work is sensitive.

The contract runs until September 2028, but the regulator can change its scope or end it under the agreement.

The deal adds to Excite’s work supplying specialist technology to Australian government agencies.
