OpenAI holds Seoul workshop to help Korean firms apply AI

OpenAI held its Seoul Builder Bootcamp for Korean companies on Monday, bringing together more than 40 technology professionals.

The participants came from manufacturing, telecommunications, IT services, consumer goods and AI businesses.

The workshop followed OpenAI's developer event, DevDay, and focused on putting AI to work in business operations.

OpenAI engineers covered how to choose tasks for AI, develop and assess systems, and manage security.

Participants also discussed controlling AI agents' data access and actions and checking for missing information in their answers.

OpenAI advised companies to decide which tasks AI can handle and where people must review or approve its work, then test it in small steps.

The company said it will continue technical support for participating firms as they consider how to apply AI in their workplaces.
