Central Java police chief pledges support for investors and businesses

Central Java police chief Roy Hardi Siahaan pledged to help protect businesses and investment in the Indonesian province.

He made the commitment at an investment forum in Batang on October 23, 2026.

Police will work with government agencies, including the land ministry, to help businesses with matters such as land administration.

Officers will also provide direct assistance to business activities, with local police stations involved in specific projects.

The police chief said officers would act firmly against crimes that disturb the public, and warned that drug trafficking can affect workplaces.

The plan is to coordinate with relevant agencies and provide support as investment projects develop.
