Meghana’s father alleges bus crash may have been deliberate
A private bus hit Meghana’s car as she and her father, Krishna, travelled from Vijayawada toward Kodad on October 15.
The impact partly damaged the car, and Krishna filed a police complaint the next day in Ibrahimpatnam, in Andhra Pradesh’s NTR district.
He asked police to investigate and said he feared for their safety.
He suspects former minister Jogi Ramesh may be involved, but the reports provide no evidence supporting that allegation.
Meghana has previously accused her husband, Jogi Rajiv, her father-in-law and others of dowry harassment and attempted murder; Jogi Ramesh’s family has denied the accusations.
Police say the crash appears accidental and that they have no evidence it was deliberate.
