Go Woo-suk throws 3⅔ scoreless innings in LG’s season-ending loss

LG Twins reliever Go Woo-suk entered in the fourth inning against the KIA Tigers in the teams’ final game of the 2026 KBO League season.

LG had fallen behind and had runners on base, so the team brought him in to stop KIA from extending its lead.

He pitched 3⅔ innings, threw 43 pitches and gave up no runs, helping LG tie the game in the sixth.

KIA won 4-2 after a two-run home run in the eighth, leaving LG in fourth place.

It was Go’s final game of the season because he returned to LG after ending his bid to play in Major League Baseball, and players who joined after August 15 could not take part in the postseason.

He finished the season with a 1.57 earned run average in 16 appearances for LG.

The game ended LG’s season, and Go is expected to be part of its relief corps in 2027.

I’ll see how the situation develops. He could come in before or after. The coaching staff and analysis team will discuss it, run simulations and use him as they decide.

He was fine that day, but when he woke up in the morning, he said he couldn’t turn his neck. It’s better to send him to Seoul and get him treated quickly.
