Edmonton Startup Week panelists say agriculture could drive a tech boom

Panelists said agriculture could be a promising place for new technology businesses.

Farmers are often willing to adopt tools that improve productivity, and the sector has many practical problems to solve.

Testing technology in agriculture may also take less time than bringing some products into healthcare.

The panelists advised entrepreneurs to speak with producers to learn what challenges they face.
