Turkey suspends Tera and Pusula’s capital markets activities
Turkey’s Capital Markets Board suspended the activities of Tera Portfolio Management and Pusula Portfolio Management.
The decision was published on the regulator’s website on October 26.
The suspensions are temporary, and the decision also puts certain funds founded by the two firms into liquidation.
These are funds that had been closed to transactions but were not already being liquidated, including investment, real estate investment and venture capital investment funds.
İş Bankası will handle Tera’s funds, while Ziraat Bankası will handle Pusula’s.
The banks are now responsible for the liquidation process, though no timetable or further details were given.

The regulator also added certain funds established by the companies to the liquidation process.
