Mary J. Blige confronts booing fan during Las Vegas residency

Mary J. Blige confronted a fan she said was booing during a concert on Wednesday, October 28.

The incident happened at her My Life, My Story residency at Dolby Live in Las Vegas.

Blige told the heckler they did not have to attend and said she hoped someone would politely remove them.

She then apologized to the audience and said her response reflected where she was from.

Blige returned to the performance and later brought out Wyclef Jean to sing their hit “911.”

The residency has more dates in February 2027, when it is scheduled to conclude.

The show marked a brief disruption, not a cancellation, and Blige continued her concert as planned.
