Xiaomi launches dual-camera smart doorbell in China
Xiaomi has launched the Smart Doorbell 4 Pro Dual Camera Edition in China for 499 yuan, with an introductory price of 439 yuan.
Its second camera points down to monitor packages near the door, while the main camera faces outward.
Both cameras have a diagonal field of view of more than 150 degrees, and infrared lights support recording in low light without a visible red glow.
The doorbell runs on a 9,800mAh battery, which Xiaomi says lasts about 172 days when it records 20 motion-triggered clips of 10 seconds each per day.
It also offers motion alerts, recognition for people, packages and pets, and storage on a memory card or in rolling cloud storage.
These features aim to help users see who is at the door and keep track of deliveries.
Xiaomi has not said when the doorbell will be available outside China.
