Jakarta Sets Three-Month Deadline to Finish Long-Stalled PJB-Muara Karang Flyover

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has set a three-month deadline to complete the PJB-Muara Karang non-toll flyover in North Jakarta.

The project has been stalled for years after construction began during the tenure of former governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, known as Ahok.

The city plans to use creative financing to fund the work, and Pramono said the parties involved had reached an agreement.

City officials will coordinate to address the obstacles that have delayed construction.

The flyover is expected to help reduce traffic in Pluit.

The project is one of several local improvements discussed by the governor during a meeting in Penjaringan.

The city has given the project a maximum of three months to be completed.
