Mount Pleasant and Club Sando draw 1-1 after missed penalty

Jamaica’s Mount Pleasant and Trinidad and Tobago’s Club Sando drew 1-1 in the first leg of their Caribbean Cup semi-final.

Mount Pleasant led when it won a first-half penalty, giving it a chance to extend its advantage.

Trayvon Reid took about 17 seconds to approach the ball with slow, broken steps before shooting.

Club Sando goalkeeper Tishorn Rago saved the weak attempt.

Club Sando equalised in the second half, leaving the two teams level after the first match.

The teams meet again in Kingston on October 22 to decide who reaches the final.

The winner will face the winner of the other semi-final, between Jamaica’s Portmore United and Haiti’s Violet, in December.
