Control Resonant launch lifts Remedy revenue 226% to €39.6 million

Remedy's revenue rose 226% to €39.6 million in the third quarter after its game Control Resonant launched on September 24.

The Finnish game developer also reported an operating profit of €0.6 million, compared with a €16.4 million loss in the same quarter last year.

Control Resonant has sold more than one million units, making it Remedy's fastest-selling game so far.

Nearly half of its players were new to the Control series, and the United States accounted for nearly half of its PC and console players.

The launch also lifted sales of the 2019 game Control, while game sales and royalties made up most of Remedy's quarterly revenue.

Remedy says its next priority is getting the game to more players, with sales for the rest of the year helping determine its financial results for 2026.

The company is also working on a remake of the first two Max Payne games.
