Mick Foley Says Willow Nightingale Won His Support by Helping His Daughter

Mick Foley says Willow Nightingale first won his support by helping his daughter, Noelle, while she was training to become a wrestler.

Noelle’s body could not handle the demands of training every day, Foley said.

He told Noelle that if she had one match, it should be with Nightingale as a way to thank her.

Nightingale has since risen through AEW and won its TBS and Women’s World championships.

Foley said he was especially happy when AEW signed her and impressed by her success.

After Nightingale wrestled Mercedes Mone at All In, Foley congratulated her by text and said he considered the match a classic.

Nightingale asked if Foley was still there because she wanted to see him, a moment he said made him feel like a fan.
