Apple Plans Reachability Update for iPhone Duo Later This Year
Apple plans to add Reachability to the iPhone Duo in a software update later this year.
The feature lowers the top half of the screen so people can reach controls more easily with one hand.
The foldable iPhone has a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer display.
Reachability has been available on other iPhones since 2014, but Apple has not explained how it will work on the Duo.
The change could help people with smaller hands and left-handed users, as some controls are placed on the right side of the screens.
The update could make one-handed use easier, though it is not clear whether Reachability will work on both displays.

What people are saying
My condolences to all the lefties, as you can’t shift controls to the other side of the screen.
In my experience, tapping through apps is easy enough with two hands, but Reachability could make it feel less unwieldy and therefore even more versatile by enabling one-handed gestures.
