Josh Hutcherson and Mackenzie Davis cast in DC’s Mister Miracle series
DC Studios has cast two leads for its animated Mister Miracle series: Josh Hutcherson will play Scott Free, the title character, and Mackenzie Davis will play Big Barda.
The show is based on the DC comic book Mister Miracle, written by Tom King and drawn by Mitch Gerads.
King wrote all eight episodes and also worked on the upcoming series Lanterns as a co-creator and executive producer.
DC Studios co-head Peter Safran said the adaptation tells a story about facing life without knowing the answers to its biggest questions.
The series is planned as an eight-episode story, rather than a single film.
The show is still in its early stages, and no release date is given.

What people are saying
Mr. Miracle, I think that Tom King really learned a lot in his season of co-creating and executive producing Lanterns and he adapted his book Mr. Miracle fully on his own, wrote all eight episodes and I think it's just dynamite.
How do we survive in today's world knowing that we're never going to truly know the answers to the big questions in life?
