More than 2,000 overseas buyers register for refrigeration trade fair in Hangzhou
The 2026 international air-conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and cold-chain fair opened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang on October 22.
It brought together 528 exhibiting companies and more than 2,000 registered professional visitors from 109 countries and regions.
Buyers from countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines and Russia came looking for air conditioners, cold-storage equipment, refrigeration units and parts.
A Pakistani trade group brought more than 50 business representatives, with plans to buy large cold-storage systems and related components.
The fair also highlighted newer areas such as liquid cooling for data centres, as demand for computing infrastructure grows.
These products and technologies matter as the industry adapts to energy efficiency, environmental rules and new uses for cooling.
Organisers say the event helps Zhejiang manufacturers build overseas business, and the Zhejiang International Chamber of Commerce plans to keep connecting local companies with global markets.
