Trinny and Susannah in talks to revive What Not To Wear

Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine are discussing a revival of their fashion makeover show, What Not To Wear.

Woodall said they are in conversations with producers about bringing it back after more than 20 years off screen.

The BBC show ran for five series from 2001 to 2005, giving participants £2,000 to rebuild their wardrobes.

Its hosts became known for blunt comments about participants’ clothes and bodies, sometimes as they stood in underwear before a 360-degree mirror.

The show drew seven million viewers at its peak, but its style has raised questions about how it would work today.

The hosts’ daughters have said they think it would be cancelled if it aired now.

The show’s return is still only under discussion, and no further details are given.
