Mississippi State QB Kamario Taylor to miss rest of season with toe injury

Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor will miss the rest of the season with a toe injury that is expected to require surgery.

He ends the season with 17 passing touchdowns and 1,460 passing yards.

Parker Puckett is now Mississippi State’s starting quarterback, while running back Fluff Bothwell is expected back after missing the Oklahoma game.

The Bulldogs are 4-3 and have four games left against SEC opponents, starting with a road game at No.

Taylor is expected to recover fully and turn his attention to 2027, when he will be eligible to build on his NFL draft prospects.
