Asia Kate Dillon seeks service work as acting roles diminish

Asia Kate Dillon is seeking service work after saying acting jobs have largely dried up.

Dillon, who is nonbinary, shared that they are available for part-time, night and weekend customer service work.

They first worked in food service as a teenager and kept service jobs while pursuing acting.

They had relied on acting for full-time income since 2015 and say they have worked only in theater, film and television for the past 11 years.

Dillon is known for playing Taylor Mason in Billions and Brandy Epps in Orange Is the New Black.

Dillon says work has diminished especially for trans and nonbinary performers, highlighting the difficulty of sustaining careers in entertainment.

They say they enjoy customer service and are ready to return to that work.
