Globo announces 2027 programming, including Women's World Cup coverage

Globo announced its 2027 programming plans at an event in São Paulo on October 14.

The main focus was the Women's World Cup, which Brazil will host in 2027, with full coverage planned across Globo's channels.

Brazil women's team coach Arthur Elias said the coverage could bring the tournament greater visibility and recognition.

Globo also announced a Sabrina Sato show about the players and a Multishow program with Blogueirinha covering the tournament's behind-the-scenes.

A film about Brazilian football star Marta, played by Alice Carvalho, is scheduled to open in April 2027.

Globo plans changes to Big Brother Brasil 27, including showing the eliminated contestant's interview on TV, as well as a new season of Chef de Alto Nível.
