Lucie Bernardoni takes a stage role in comedy Napo
Lucie Bernardoni is moving into theatre after leaving her role as a tutor on France’s Star Academy.
She is appearing in Napo, a comedy playing at the Comédie Bastille in Paris.
The story sends Napoleon from Waterloo in 1815 to France in 2026, where he tries to build a team and run for president in 2027.
The play uses sharp, irreverent humour, and Bernardoni performs in the role alternately with Jeanne Pajon.
Napo is scheduled to run until 3 January 2027, and Bernardoni is due to make her first appearance on 15 October.
Dancer Christophe Licata has publicly encouraged her as she begins this new stage of her career.
