Hackers accessed data linked to 115,000 Offerz customers
Swiss online retailer Offerz says hackers accessed data linked to about 115,000 customers.
The access was to a test system on the night of October 7, and Offerz discovered it on October 9.
The system held a copy of January 2026 order data that had been stored in cloud storage during technical work and should have been deleted afterward.
The exposed information included names, home and email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses and payment-method details, but the copy contained no passwords or payment data.
Offerz cannot confirm whether information was taken, so it is treating the data as potentially exposed.
The company disabled the test system and requires customers to reset their passwords at their next login.
It also warned customers about possible scams, filed a criminal complaint and notified Swiss data protection and cybersecurity authorities.

What people are saying
Our systems were the target of massive hacking attempts, and such attempts are continuing.
We cannot conclusively establish whether the data was actually taken. Since access was possible, we are assuming this as a precaution.
