iMarketKorea expands support for South Korean firms entering the US
South Korean company iMarketKorea is expanding support for manufacturers entering the US.
At a recent industry exhibition in Seoul, it spoke with companies that said they faced challenges securing production sites and setting up local purchasing, warehousing and logistics.
The company plans to use Gradient Technology Park, under development in Taylor, Texas, to connect manufacturers with suppliers and logistics firms.
The park covers about 860,000 square metres and is being built with manufacturing and logistics facilities, power, water and roads.
It is near Samsung Electronics’ Taylor semiconductor plant and Tesla’s Texas Gigafactory, and iMarketKorea says it could serve firms in semiconductors, electric vehicles and batteries.
The company will continue talks to tailor facilities and support to the companies’ plans and schedules for entering the US.
