Deutsche Bank relaunches digital investment service with human managers

Deutsche Bank has restarted digital wealth management for customers in Germany, more than a year after it stopped taking new customers for its Robin robo-advisor.

The new service is fully digital, but the bank’s investment specialists make the portfolio decisions, based on their market assessments.

Customers can choose from five investment strategies.

The minimum initial investment is €500, and customers can make regular payments starting at €1 a month.

The service is less individually tailored than the bank’s wealth management for very rich clients, but is designed to reach people with smaller sums to invest.

The bank has not announced further next steps for the service.
