Terry Bradshaw expects Fox may replace him after his contract ends in 2029

Terry Bradshaw expects Fox may replace him when his new contract ends after the Super Bowl in 2029.

The 78-year-old former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback has appeared on Fox NFL Sunday since 1994.

Fox recently gave him a two-year contract extension, but Bradshaw said he thinks the network may move on regardless of how well he performs.

He has not announced plans to retire and said Fox could still offer him another year.

His future on the show remains uncertain as the contract runs its course.

Bradshaw has also spoken publicly about depression, anxiety attacks and undiagnosed ADHD, and said his wife helps him through difficult periods.

He has described mental health struggles as an illness, not a weakness.

I'm 78. I just signed a two-year extension, and I'm pretty sure no matter how well I perform over the next two years, they're going to want to replace me.

I'm not going to announce my retirement, because in two years when we do the Super Bowl, after my contract is expiring, I don't want anybody to do a tribute.

I am totally confident on the air, absolutely.
