Three suspects arrested in the Netherlands after Swiss ATM explosion
Three suspects were arrested in the Netherlands over the explosion of an ATM in Beringen, in northern Switzerland.
The blast happened early Monday and set fire to a nearby home, forcing 13 residents to leave their homes.
Authorities say they seized cash that may have come from the ATM, but have not named the suspects.
Switzerland plans to ask Dutch authorities to extradite them.
Investigators are also checking whether the Beringen case is linked to an ATM attack in nearby Thayngen on September 30.
That earlier attack brought no money, and one suspect was injured and arrested while two others escaped.
The investigation is continuing, including the possible link between the two cases.
