Ryder Quinn wins the Tim Miles Award

Ryder Quinn won the Tim Miles Award at the GT4 Australia end-of-season banquet.

The award recognises the SRO Motorsports Australia driver who best reflects the values of the late racing driver Tim Miles, who died mid-season in 2025.

Quinn races in GT4 Australia and finished third in the Silver-Am Cup standings with his stepfather, Steve Jakic, in their BMW M4.

They missed the title by 19 points to Zac Soutar and Glenn Nirwan.

The award honours Miles’s impact on the racing community, and Quinn said he had been close to Miles both on and off the track.

Quinn also raced at the Bathurst 12 Hour with three generations of his family; they finished 18th overall and in the top 10 in class.

The 2027 GT4 Australia season is set to begin in support of the Bathurst 12 Hour on February 11-14.
