Former Sydney school principal accused of sexually assaulting 14-year-old
Former Sydney school principal Alan James Caradus, 70, is accused of raping a 14-year-old boy at Echo Point Park near Roseville Bridge in 2023.
Police say Caradus and the boy first met in person after making contact on a dating app, and that Caradus also incited the boy to perform a sex act.
Caradus was arrested at his Killara home on October 22, and police seized electronic devices.
A judge refused his request for bail, finding his health conditions could be managed in custody.
