German rapper Haftbefehl is under medical supervision, his brother Cem Anhan said in a video message posted on Haftbefehl’s social media accounts.
The family and the rapper decided to cancel his planned October concerts in Düsseldorf and Berlin.
Anhan asked fans to respect the decision and give Haftbefehl time to recover.
Haftbefehl, whose real name is Aykut Anhan, announced a break in June for health reasons and withdrew from public view.
He had previously spoken about drug addiction and the effects of cocaine use in a Netflix documentary about his life.
