Mexico’s SAT launches a new online appointment system

Mexico’s tax agency, the SAT, has launched a new appointment system for taxpayers.

Individuals and businesses can book appointments through the SAT portal for services related to foreign trade, audits and tax collection.

The new options include guidance on tax refunds, debts and fines, and help with paying tax debts in instalments or later.

The SAT also handles weekly registrations for the federal taxpayer registry and electronic signatures, which companies need to start operating and meet tax rules.

The changes aim to make it easier to complete tax procedures and comply with obligations.

Taxpayers can use the portal’s calendar to check appointment availability and book at SAT offices.
