115-foot Christmas tree arrives at Citadel Outlets

A 115-foot white fir arrived at Citadel Outlets in Commerce, California, on Oct.

19.

The tree came from the Mount Shasta area, more than 500 miles away.

Citadel Outlets bills it as the world’s tallest fresh-cut Christmas tree.

The shopping center brings in a towering tree each year as a holiday attraction.

Over about two weeks, crews will add more than 1,000 branches, 18,000 lights, and thousands of bows and ornaments.

The decorated tree will be unveiled at a lighting ceremony and concert on Nov.

7, starting at 5 p.m.

Entry to the event is free.
