Window cleaner dies after falling from building in Nagoya

A window cleaner fell from a building in Sakae, Nagoya, while working on Monday.

The man, believed to be in his 50s, was working with a colleague at the time.

He was taken to hospital unconscious and was pronounced dead about two hours later.

Police believe he may have fallen by accident and are checking what happened.

One report said he was wearing fall-prevention equipment, but did not explain how he fell.

Police are also working to confirm his identity.
