Lorient host Brest in a Breton derby, with several players unavailable

Lorient host Brest in a Breton derby at the Stade du Moustoir on Monday, 2 November, in Ligue 1's ninth round.

Lorient sit above Brest in the table and arrive after two 1-0 home wins and a goalless draw away to Angers.

Brest come into the match after a 1-2 home defeat by Nice, following a 5-1 win over Angers a few weeks earlier.

Brest will be without Raphaël Le Guen, who has a fractured fibula, as well as Giovani Versini and Brendan Chardonnet.

Lorient are waiting on the fitness of Bandiougou Fadiga, Panos Katseris and Mohamed Bamba, all listed as doubtful.

The teams are playing for three league points as well as local pride.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 20:45 at Lorient's Stade du Moustoir.
