Tu Hai Meri Kiran to release on October 23 after producers resolve dispute

Tu Hai Meri Kiran is set to open in cinemas on October 23 as planned.

The film stars Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal and is written and directed by Karan Rawal.

Its co-producers, Vishal Rana and Sarvesh Goel, say they have settled their dispute internally and are moving ahead with the release.

The disagreement had raised questions about whether the film would reach theatres on time.

The Bombay High Court had stayed the theatrical release amid a financial dispute, after AND Movie Products LLP alleged that its ₹8.85 crore investment had not been refunded and a cheque had been dishonoured.

The producers’ announcement means the scheduled release can proceed, and the film is described as a mix of romance, mystery and suspense.
