Test finds 11 of 22 Swiss online shops delivered vapes to minors
A Swiss consumer group tested 22 online shops by placing vape orders through minors.
Eleven shops delivered nicotine vapes, although sales to people under 18 have been banned in Switzerland for two years.
Many shops asked buyers to confirm their age with a pop-up that could be bypassed, while test buyers used an adult's postal address.
At Coop, the group said, choosing delivery left outside the door bypassed the age check.
Brack says it checks buyers' names and addresses against an external database, but acknowledged the test exposed a limit in that system.
Brack plans ID-based age checks in the first quarter of 2027, and Coop says it is planning further measures.
The consumer group has informed the relevant cantonal authorities and says the 11 shops should introduce effective checks or remove vapes from sale online.
