Prince William Says He Will Watch Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Prince William praised Karan Johar and said he would watch his film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, also known as K3G.

The Prince of Wales spoke about meeting Johar in London at an event linked to the Earthshot Prize, the environmental initiative he launched with The Royal Foundation.

Johar has helped the initiative build a stronger presence in India, and William credited his contribution.

William said he had not watched any of Johar’s films, then agreed to the journalist’s suggestion to try K3G, a 2001 family drama starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, among others.

The Earthshot Prize Summit will bring together environmental projects and potential supporters for two days of discussion and collaboration.

It will lead to the sixth awards ceremony on November 17, 2026, where 15 finalists will be recognised and five winners will each receive £1 million to help expand their solutions.
