Nintendo offers Zelda profile rewards to Switch Online subscribers
Nintendo is offering Zelda-themed profile rewards to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers for the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Nintendo Switch 2.
The first selection includes eight character icons, featuring Link, Princess Zelda and other characters and items from Hyrule.
Each icon costs 10 Platinum Points, so collecting all eight requires 80 points in total.
Subscribers can also redeem points for themed backgrounds and frames to customize their profiles.
Platinum Points can be earned through activities and missions, so players do not have to spend money to get these rewards.
Nintendo will rotate new rewards weekly for four weeks, and subscribers can claim them in the Nintendo Switch Online app's Missions & Rewards section.
Redeemed icons remain in a player's collection even if their subscription later expires.
