Blondie announces first album in nine years, featuring Clem Burke
Blondie has announced High Noon, its 12th studio album and first collection of new songs since 2017.
The New York band, known for its history spanning several eras, is due to release it on February 26, 2027.
The album features Clem Burke's final contributions; the founding member and drummer died in 2025.
Its lead single, “Spectral Eyes,” written by Johnny Marr, is already available to stream.
Blondie began recording the album in New York in 2022, working with producer John Congleton before David Wrench handled further production and mixing.
The songs draw on different periods of the band's history, including a punk-influenced track written by Sex Pistols bassist Glen Matlock.
The album's release is scheduled for February 2027, and no further next steps were reported.
