Apple may launch touchscreen MacBook Pro models in early November

Apple is expected to unveil redesigned MacBook Pro models in late October, though it has not announced an event or confirmed the products.

The reports describe 14-inch and 16-inch models with OLED touchscreens, a first for Apple’s Mac notebooks.

The screens may include a smaller Dynamic Island, while Face ID is not expected.

Touch-focused software would offer larger controls and menus suited to fingers, alongside familiar Mac features.

The redesigned models are reportedly expected to use M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, while a separate 14-inch MacBook Pro with an M6 chip may also arrive.

A planned overnight store update from November 5 to 6 has raised the possibility that some new products will reach stores on November 6.

Reports also point to an OLED iPad mini and updated Macs, but Apple has not confirmed which devices will be available then.
