Last One Laughing UK returns with a four-part Halloween special

Prime Video has made a four-part Halloween spin-off of its British comedy game show Last One Laughing.

Seven comedians compete to keep straight faces while trying not to laugh or scream.

The cast includes Jack Dee, Phil Wang, Reece Shearsmith, Harriet Dyer, Tom Allen, Lou Sanders and Daisy May Cooper.

Sanders and Cooper are returning contestants from the show’s first series, while Cooper also has an interest in the supernatural.

The first two seasons were a hit, and the original format has drawn about six million viewers.

The Halloween edition adds scare-based challenges and spooky props, though reviewers say the series remains focused on comedy rather than fright.

The special arrives ahead of the show’s third season, which is expected next year.
