Collage Launches to Connect AI Studios With Hollywood

Dante DeSario and Michael Lambert have launched Collage, a management firm for emerging AI studios.

DeSario, a former talent agent, began building relationships with AI filmmakers after seeking early access to OpenAI’s Sora video tool.

Collage aims to connect AI studios with traditional Hollywood companies, at a time when studios are embracing AI but many creative workers oppose it.

Its clients include Asteria, DEFECT, Matriarch and Secret Level.

The firm will help match studios with suitable technology and advise on whether to use AI, a mix of methods or more traditional production for each scene.

Collage has closed a seed funding round and plans to offer business, technical and operational support, as well as access to investors.

It also plans to selectively invest in companies in its network, while helping their creative teams focus on their work.
