Retired US admiral says deep oceans could hide UFOs

Retired US Navy admiral Tim Gallaudet says UFOs could hide in Earth's oceans, which he describes as among the least explored parts of the world.

Gallaudet, a former acting head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, said about 10 percent of ocean volume has been explored using drones, buoys or floats.

Researcher Scott C. Waring claims a hole near Nunavut is an entrance to an alien base, but the story provides no independent confirmation of that claim.

Gallaudet also pointed to videos he says show objects moving underwater and then emerging, and argued that their movements are difficult to explain with current technology.

He testified to Congress in 2024 about a reported UFO incident during a naval exercise and the disappearance of an email about it.

Waring has proposed sending an underwater drone to investigate the suspected opening, a mission he says could last several days and return with footage.
