Sunny Deol’s Hanuman Appears in Ramayana: Part 1 End-Credits Scene

Ramayana: Part 1 has opened in cinemas, with Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram and Yash playing Ravana.

The film ends after Sita is abducted and the wounded Jatayu tells Ram where she has been taken.

Jatayu’s death and Ram’s vow to bring Sita back set up the conflict with Ravana that is still to come.

In the end-credits scene, Sunny Deol appears as Lord Hanuman, who is shown leaping through the air and hailing Ram.

His face is not shown, and the scene uses his voice and Hanuman’s silhouette for the reveal.

The scene introduces Hanuman ahead of the sequel, where he will help Ram in the search for Sita and the fight against Ravana.

Ramayana: Part 2 is announced for Diwali 2028.

Sunny Deol appears in Ramayana Part 1 only towards the very end. In fact, the film concludes with his appearance. It could either be the final scene before the end credits roll or be presented as a mid-credit or post-credit sequence…The idea is to leave the audience on a massive high, much like the ending of the first Baahubali. The ‘Kattappa ne Baahubali ko kyun maara?’ moment created tremendous curiosity and considerably amplified the excitement for the second film. Similarly, the makers of Ramayana are hoping that the introduction of Lord Hanuman at the end of Part 1 will create a frenzy in cinemas and leave audiences eagerly waiting for the sequel.
