Ashish Kacholia and an associate hold 2.7% of Ardee Industries

Investor Ashish Kacholia and an associate entity together hold about 2.7% of Ardee Industries, an Indian company that recycles used lead-acid batteries and lead scrap.

Kacholia bought his shares before the company’s August 2026 stock-market listing, while the associate received shares in an allocation for anchor investors.

Ardee’s revenue more than doubled between FY24 and FY26, and its net profit rose from ₹8.95 crore to ₹84.7 crore.

The company also expanded production capacity and increased exports to eight countries.

Recent results showed margins under pressure: in the June quarter, revenue rose 35.2% year on year, but net profit grew about 6% and Ebitda was broadly flat.

Management cited global uncertainty, shipping disruptions, higher freight costs and more expensive imported scrap.

The key test is whether Ardee can grow while protecting profitability; management expects volume growth of 10% to 20% in the current financial year.
