Reform UK investigates after councillors and candidates filmed making racist comments
An ITV undercover investigation filmed Reform UK councillors and candidates making racist, violent and sexist comments across England and Wales.
One clip shows Solihull councillor Alan Feeney making racist remarks about Asian homeowners and saying that no more than 1% of Britain’s population should be non-white.
The footage was gathered over a year, including during election campaigns, and also captures other candidates making extreme and misogynistic comments.
Reform says it has started investigations and suspended some people; several councillors have left the party, though accounts differ on whether everyone filmed has resigned or been suspended.
Nigel Farage postponed a planned announcement as the party faced the fallout, with more footage, including from its headquarters, expected.
The revelations put Reform’s vetting promises under scrutiny, as Farage has pledged to remove extremists and the party says it has improved its checks.

What people are saying
Where members, activists and councillors have clearly behaved inappropriately, investigations have commenced
Nigel Farage can't shrug these latest revelations off as being a few bad apples.
They have infiltrated our workplace including commissioning an undercover journalist to provide altered identification documents, a false address, and false credentials so that they could be given access to Reform’s headquarters, computer systems, and spy on its employees
I'd be saying no more than one per cent of British population can be non-white.
