Everything But the Girl announce new album Blue Reservoir
Everything But the Girl have announced Blue Reservoir, a new album by singer Tracey Thorn and musician Ben Watt.
The duo’s 10 original songs are due out February 19 through Buzzin’ Fly and Virgin Music Group.
The album follows Fuse, which they released in 2023 after a 24-year break from making music together.
Their residency at Moth Club, a London venue, helped shape the new songs and their stripped-back sound.
New single “Young and Dumb” is out now, with a video filmed at Moth Club.
Watt played much of the album on a Spanish nylon-string guitar, joined by longtime collaborators Rex Horan and Evan Jenkins and percussionist Fabio de Oliveira.
Blue Reservoir marks the duo’s next musical chapter, though no further release plans are stated.

There was an intensity and simplicity to the Moth shows that took us back to how we started out,
It became quite an emotional springboard for me. I found a voice I thought I’d lost.
